Dr. Dubé will determine the best fitting lens based on your lifestyle needs, the shape and health of your eye. When you book a contact lens fitting appointment you’ll have the opportunity to try lenses on the same day as your exam. You can even go home with a few samples before making a final decision.
In addition to helping detect, treat and prevent eye diseases, Dr. Dubé, Optometrist provides care for urgent eye health issues like infections, inflammation, allergies and eye injuries, including removing foreign bodies from the eye. As trained specialists, we can assess unusual or sudden vision changes and various conditions causing eye pain – and, when necessary, provide referrals to other specialists.
Digital Retinal Imaging allows your eye doctor to evaluate the health of the back of your eye, the retina. It is critical to confirm the health of the retina, optic nerve and other retinal structures. The digital camera snaps a high-resolution digital picture of your retina. This picture clearly shows the health of your eyes and is used as a baseline to track any changes in your eyes in future eye examinations.
The Heidelberg Retina Tomograph (HRT) is a proven tool for the early detection and managing glaucoma, a symptomless, sight-threatening disease.
A visual field test works by randomly displaying small points of light for you to respond to. It maps out the sensitivity of all the points of your central and peripheral vision. This in turn can point to the location of any lesion or abnormality along the visual pathway.
We have doctor hours 5 days a week by appointment only. We do accept eye emergencies including red eyes, flashes and floaters and foreign body removal.
